Non-Degree Programs: The Bakery Training Unit, under the Directorate of Extension conduct the following training courses.
A. 14 weeks Certificate Course in Bakery Technology.
B. 2 and 4 weeks Bakery product preparation course for commercial development and self-employment.
C. One week course for selected professional.
D. 3 days Home bakery course for women.
E. Correspondence course for training of farmers is offered in paddy and scientific cultivation of Mulberry and Silk Rearing Sericulture.
Other Training: Under ‘Swavalambana’ a scheme sponsored by the State Government of Karnataka a 12 weeks training programmes for Rural Youth offered in the field of Bakery, Mushroom production and Nursery rising and Management.
